  1. Big News Oliver... The Oliver Small Wheels Park is in the final running for the BCAA Play Here Prize. If we get enough votes, our skatepark could win $100,000! But we need votes. Voting is open for anyone over 19, so pass the link to your parents, aunts and uncles, neighbours and grandparents and tell them to vote everyday.   1. Today in the caf there is Tomato Basil Soup and Caprese Grilled Cheese or Veggie Paninis and tomorrow is Italian Wedding Soup and Cobb Salad. 

 

  1. Reminder to all athletes:  students who played a sport this year and have paid their athletic fees are asked to stop by the library after these announcements and see Mrs. Wilkinson to pick up their banquet ticket. It is critical that we have everyone who is coming pick up their tickets today so that we can let the caterer know how many people will be attending. Parents of athletes who want to attend may purchase a banquet ticket for $25. 

 

  1. Grads – Grad dinner tickets are now available in the office.  Your ticket is covered in your grad fees, and each guest ticket is $30.00.  Please confirm with Mrs Andrews your attendance for the dinner, even if you are not buying guest tickets. 

 

  1. Writing Club after school in Room 206.  Running Club after school on top field. 

 

  1. Europe Trip 2021. For those of you who have signed up to go to Greece and Italy in 2021, registration is now open.  Come and see Mrs. Seminoff or check out your school email account. If you have not attended the meetings and are interested in the trip, it’s not too late, come and see Mrs. Seminoff for more info. 

 

  1. Spring Volleyball - All students interested in participating in Spring Volleyball are invited to join us today from 3-4:30 in the main gym. 

 

  1. It’s time for the second annual badminton championship! Think you have what it takes to rise to the top and challenge Mr. Khodarahmi and Mrs. McIntyre? Want to follow in the footsteps of greatness and become a legend like Sahij and Arshveer last year? If you are up for this, meet in Mr. K’s room at lunch on Wednesday to sign up. The one day championship tournament is open to grades 8-12 and will be right after school on the following Wednesday, June 12.
