Look for our brand new “Look What’s Up” board in the front foyer right beside our Quote of the Day Board. Make sure you check it daily to see what’s happening at lunch and after school. There’s a lot going on at SOSS! If we’ve missed an activity please add a sticky note or let Mrs. Toon or Mrs. Silbernagel know and we’ll be sure to add it.
Spirit Day is making its appearance on May 31. The theme is ‘Beach Day’ so we are looking for ideas of activities that are beachy. Go to the school website to submit your ideas to help with the planning.
Link Crew will be hosting a White Out dance on Thursday April 25th. Come and get groovy from 6:30-9:30. Tickets will be on sale for $5 in the atrium at lunch until April 25th. If you wish to bring a guest you must get a guest pass approved through the office. Song requests are being polled on instagram @SOSSOliver.
Attention Grade 11 & 12 Students. Are you interested in going on a field trip on May 23rd and 24th to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside to investigate what measures are being taken to deal with BC’s addiction and mental illness crises? Come to a meeting in Ms. Riordan’s room at lunch on Thursday April 25th to find out more.
