- Chess and Scrabble club at lunch time in Room 103 Learning Support room.
- The Hornet’s Jr and Sr Ultimate teams travelled to Princess Margaret for games last night. The Jr squad played some of their best disc this season dispatching the Summerland Jr squad 11 – 1 then played a strong Summerland Sr team losing 12 – 3. Shout out to Josh Allen for a huge defensive performance during that game. It was business as usual for the Sr Hornet squad winning both games 11 – 3 and 13 – 2 against Maggie and the Summerland Jr squad bringing their overall season record to 8 and 2. The Hornets next travel to Kelowna tomorrow to take part in the annual KSS invitational tournament. Go Hornets!

- Hey SOSS, have you seen the photos in the library of the Europe trip that took place over spring break? If you haven’t, go check out the library theatre bulletin board. 32 students spent 10 days exploring the Netherlands, Belgium and France on the trip of a lifetime. The planning for the next trip for March 2026 is already underway. Students currently in grade 9 and 10 who are interested in visiting France and Italy over Spring Break in 2026, there will be an informational meeting at lunch next Thursday in the library theater. See Mrs. Stopa or Mrs. G if you have any questions.
- Attention Grads, District Authority Scholarship applications are due tomorrow, Friday, April 19th. Applications should be handed in to Mrs. Koffler in the office by 3PM!
- The April Wellness retreat is happening next Thursday, April 25th. Mental Health Group members please check your teams and let Mrs. Stopa know if you’d like to come. There are limited spots so don’t miss out!
