- Hey SOSS!! The Snowball Dance sponsored by Link Crew is coming up really soon. Tickets are on sale at lunch and they are $10. The dance is semi-formal and is on November 30.
- Today in the Caf it is Fettuccini Alfredo, Garlic Bread and Italian Wedding Soup and tomorrow is Pizza Day.
- Hey SOSS, the Europe Trip group is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser this Friday at the Community Center. Support your fellow Hornets in the trip of a lifetime! Tickets are available from Mrs. Wilkie in the accounting office.
- For any students interested in learning more about Budgeting, there is a presentation today in Room 109B at lunch (the room across from Mr. Shulting’s). Bring your food and learn more about how to make your money work for you.
- Grade 8 Girls’ volleyball team – please come to a short meeting at lunchtime today in the Science lab to plan our end of season gathering.
- Reminder to the Sr. Boys basketball team, there will be a practice today from 7:30pm – 9:30pm in the Big Gym.
- Beading in gathering room at lunch with Tara.
- Homework Club in Gathering Room 3pm-4pm with Nick, all are welcome.
- Pickleball games at lunch time today in the big gym. Come and have a match against Mrs. McIntyre, Mr. Khodarahmi and Mrs. Windley.
- Chess and Scrabble club will start Thursday this week at lunch time in Room 103 Learning Support. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Windley or Mr. Willms.
- Dodge ball yesterday saw DDD defeat No Namers, and a shorthanded Chicicabas beat Lords of Chaos, next week is the final week then playoffs. Tomorrow will see DDD vs Ashtonvillers in game 2 Chicicabas vs SGPQ, come out and cheer the players on.
- All jr boys that made the jr boys basketball team meet in Mr. Basso’s room right at the start of lunch today.
- A reminder to anyone doing basketball scorekeeping that there will be a meeting at lunch in the big gym. If you are not able to attend see Charvi or Sabreen.
