  1. Senior Photography, Art 11-12 and the SOSS Skateboard club have worked together to create an amazing body of artwork that will be on display tomorrow as part of Oliver’s ArtWalk at the library from 1-4. Please come down and support your peers and maybe purchase some artwork! All proceeds are being donated to the new skateboard park. See Mrs. McVicar for more information. 

 

  1. Any grads that are working on their portfolios for the Francis Family Scholarships are reminded that the portfolios must be submitted to Mrs Andrews in the office by 2:45 Friday May 17.  No late entries will be accepted.  If you have any questions, please see Ms Laver in room 208. 

 

  1. The Hornets Ultimate team competed against Pen High last night. It was a back and forth game with the Hornets just behind 7-8 after the half time. In the end, the team fell 8-12 to a veteran squad but gained valuable experience heading into Mondays Okanagan Valleys Provincial qualifier. Way to go Hornets!  

 

  1. Mother’s Day cards will be for sale this week at lunch break.  Get Mom a beautiful handmade card for only $2.00 in Mrs. Adams’ room 106. 

 

  1. Today in the caf for lunch we will be having Pizza by the slice for $2.50/slice and next week will be our Multicultural Food Week. 

 

  1. Reminder that there are still plants available for Mom!!  Mother’s Day is this weekend.  Go to the Science Lab at lunch to buy your Mom a Mother’s Day gift! 

 

  1. The Sexuality and Gender Alliance Club (aka SAGA) is meeting in Ms. Shione’s room at lunch today. Everyone is welcome! Bring your lunch and come hang out. 

 

  1. There are msgs in the office for Nathaniel Morezewich, Sophia Fryer, Avrey Kane, and Grace Neily. 

 

  1. The follow grads need to see Ms. Smith in the office immediately following this announcement: Hannah Bydal, Brooke Lucas, Kelly-Lynn Methven, and Ashley Ganzeveld.
