MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 3RD
- Order forms for photo retakes are available in the office. A reminder to students that all photos taken on retake day, October 9 must be prepaid. The order form and monies must be given to the photographer.
- Congratulations to Emily Muller, Sarah Stanley and Faryn Janzen who won first , second and third at this weekends Festival of the Grape art show in the emerging artist category. Also to Anthony Evans who got an honorable mention. Thank you to all the students who participated in the show.
- On October 13th Mrs. McVicar is looking for a group of creative and artistic students who would be interested in helping with a mural project at OES. All student participants can earn volunteer hours towards grad and be treated to pizza afterwards. See Mrs. McVicar for more information.
- "The grade 8 girls played their first games of the season last night against Skaha Middle School, Osoyoos Secondary and KVR. They battled to come away with 3 ties against all opponents. Great job girls and there will be a short meeting in the big gym for all players at the starting of lunch.
- All Euro Trip Participants a very important meeting Thursday at break in the library be prompt. All participants must attend.
- If you are interested in creative critical problem solving and would like to participate and compete in the Odyssey of the Mind club please attend a very important informational meeting in Mr. Bassos room on Thursday at lunch.
- A reminder to all Photography 9-10 students that you are to meet at the front of the school at the beginning of lunch for the field trip to Haynes Point.
- Games club at lunch today in the LA room.
- Today in the Caf it is Breakfast Sandwiches, Hashbrowns and Fruit Salad and tomorrow will be Poutine and Broccoli Cheddar Soup.
